Basic
The primary purpose of this course is to give NDIS support workers and related staff the ability to create and maintain safe, supportive, and compliant home environments for participants. A safe home is not only free from immediate hazards but also promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This training will help workers develop practical skills in hazard identification, safe equipment use, emergency planning, and applying compliance frameworks.
By completing the course, workers will be able to balance participant choice and control with their duty of care, ensuring services meet the expectations of NDIS Practice Standards and community safety requirements.

The purpose of this course is to provide NDIS workers and staff with the ergonomic knowledge and safe work practices required to reduce the risk of workplace injuries and improve wellbeing. In disability and aged care environments, support tasks often involve physical effort, repetitive movements, or the use of specialised equipment, all of which can create risks if not managed safely.
By equipping staff with the right knowledge and skills, the course ensures they can work in a way that protects their health while also ensuring participants receive care that is safe, comfortable, and respectful. It also supports organisations in meeting their duty of care obligations and complying with NDIS Practice Standards and WHS legislation.

The purpose of this course is to provide staff with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to safely transport NDIS participants while upholding their dignity and wellbeing. Transport safety is more than just driving from one place to another. It involves identifying risks, applying correct procedures, and maintaining compliance with both legal and organisational standards. Staff will learn how to manage diverse participant needs, respond to emergencies, and embed safety into everyday practice.
By the end of the training, learners will understand that safe transport is not only a legal requirement but also a core responsibility in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

The purpose of this course is to equip NDIS and community workers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively in emergency first aid situations. In disability and aged care environments, emergencies can happen at any time, such as falls, seizures, choking, or sudden illness. Staff need to be prepared to act quickly, safely, and in a manner consistent with both NDIS Practice Standards and Australian first aid guidelines.
This training focuses on building confidence through clear explanations, practical examples, and compliance-aligned practices. By the end of the course, workers will understand their role in preserving life, preventing further harm, and ensuring dignity for participants while awaiting professional medical support.
Disclaimer: This course provides basic emergency first aid knowledge for general awareness and educational purposes only. It is not a Nationally Recognised First Aid Certificate and does not meet the requirements for workplace first aid compliance under Australian standards. Tracheostomy care is a highly sensitive area of support that requires workers to understand the basic function of the tracheostomy, common risks, and safe procedures for everyday assistance.
This course is not designed to replace clinical nursing responsibilities, but rather to ensure support workers recognize their role, work within their scope of practice, and apply best practice infection control measures. By the end of the session, learners will appreciate the importance of vigilance, dignity, and compliance when assisting participants with tracheostomy support.

Ventilator care is a high-risk area requiring strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.
The course is designed to equip workers with the ability to identify ventilator functions, respond to alarms, troubleshoot common issues, and maintain participant dignity during care. Beyond technical knowledge, the training also emphasises person-centred practice, ensuring that ventilator support is delivered in a way that respects individual preferences, cultural considerations, and overall wellbeing. By the end of the session, learners will understand not only the “how” of ventilator support, but also the “why,” reinforcing both safety and compassion in care delivery.
