This course aims to equip NDIS workers, behaviour support practitioners, and service providers with the practical knowledge and procedural skills required to identify, report, and manage incidents in line with the NDIS (Incident Management and Reportable Incidents) Rules 2018.
It supports compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards and reinforces a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Through real-world examples and case-based learning, participants will gain confidence in handling incidents effectively while ensuring participant safety, rights, and dignity remain the top priority throughout the reporting process.
Intermediate
The purpose of this course is to equip disability support workers with the essential knowledge and practical skills to ensure food is handled, prepared, and served safely in a variety of disability support settings. It supports compliance with the Australian Food Safety Standards, the NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant workplace health and safety policies. Learners will explore the causes and prevention of food-borne illness, contamination control, temperature management, personal hygiene, and cleaning practices. The course also focuses on ethical and legal responsibilities when assisting participants with meals, ensuring that all food-related activities promote health, dignity, and participant choice.
Basic
The purpose of this course is to equip NDIS and community workers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond effectively in emergency first aid situations. In disability and aged care environments, emergencies can happen at any time, such as falls, seizures, choking, or sudden illness. Staff need to be prepared to act quickly, safely, and in a manner consistent with both NDIS Practice Standards and Australian first aid guidelines.
This training focuses on building confidence through clear explanations, practical examples, and compliance-aligned practices. By the end of the course, workers will understand their role in preserving life, preventing further harm, and ensuring dignity for participants while awaiting professional medical support.

Intermediate
The purpose of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to balance two critical principles in disability and aged care: Duty of Care and Dignity of Risk. These concepts are at the core of ethical, legal, and person-centred practice under the NDIS Practice Standards.
By completing this training, learners will understand their responsibilities to protect participants from foreseeable harm, while also supporting their right to make informed choices and take risks that are meaningful to their lives. The course ensures workers are equipped to act lawfully, ethically, and respectfully in diverse and sometimes complex care situations.
Advanced
The purpose of this course is to provide disability support workers and allied health staff with the knowledge and skills required to correctly monitor and report the use of regulated restrictive practices under the NDIS framework. It ensures that workers understand their responsibilities in safeguarding participant rights, maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and applying best practice in documentation and reporting. This training reinforces a rights-based and least-restrictive approach while preparing staff to act ethically, legally, and professionally in challenging situations.
Basic
The purpose of this course is to provide an introductory understanding of the Australian health and community services environment.
It equips learners with the knowledge of sector structure, core values, ethical responsibilities, and compliance obligations.
By the end of this course, participants will be prepared to deliver safe, ethical, and person-centred support in alignment with the NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards.
Basic

Staff will learn how to recognise infection risks, apply correct hygiene practices, and follow organisational protocols. The training also ensures workers understand their legal and professional obligations under NDIS Practice Standards and Australian Guidelines, while building a culture of responsibility and care across their workplace.
Intermediate
The purpose of this course is to strengthen the capability of NDIS workers and behavior support practitioners in recognizing, recording, and reporting incidents that involve the use of restrictive practices. It aims to ensure every worker understands their obligations under the NDIS Commission's requirements, particularly those outlined in the NDIS (Incident Management and Reportable Incidents) Rules 2018.
Learners will develop the confidence to apply reporting procedures accurately and ethically, supporting participant safety, rights, and dignity at all times. This course promotes a compliance culture where accountability, transparency, and respect for human rights underpin all practices in disability support services.
Intermediate
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework is the national system that ensures disability supports are safe, consistent, and participant-centred across Australia. This course introduces learners to the purpose, principles, and legislative foundations of the Framework, highlighting how it protects participant rights, sets service quality benchmarks, and ensures provider accountability. Learners will explore key requirements such as incident management, complaints handling, worker screening, behaviour support planning, and governance obligations. The training also emphasises safeguarding strategies and continuous improvement as essential to ethical and compliant practice. By the end of the session, participants will see how the Framework is not just a compliance tool but a practical guide for improving quality of care, reducing risks, and ensuring dignity, choice, and safety for all NDIS participants.
