The purpose of this course is to equip NDIS workers and support staff with practical knowledge, skills, and confidence in infection prevention and control. Infection control in community settings is not just about stopping the spread of germs, it is about protecting vulnerable participants, maintaining dignity, and ensuring services are delivered in a safe and compliant way.
Staff will learn how to recognise infection risks, apply correct hygiene practices, and follow organisational protocols. The training also ensures workers understand their legal and professional obligations under NDIS Practice Standards and Australian Guidelines, while building a culture of responsibility and care across their workplace.
