Course Description

This training equips NDIS and aged care workers with the knowledge and skills to create and maintain a safe environment for participants, colleagues, and visitors. A safe environment reduces risks, prevents incidents, and ensures compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, WHS law, and ASQA requirements.

Course Outcomes

Define a safe environment in NDIS contexts.

Identify risks and hazards in different environments.

Apply the Safe Environment Policy and follow procedures.

Understand roles and responsibilities in maintaining safety.

Respond effectively to emergencies and incidents.

Pass knowledge checks and final assessment for compliance evidence.
