The purpose of this course is to equip NDIS and disability support workers with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely perform Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding. PEG feeding is a specialized procedure that requires strict adherence to infection control practices, compliance with care plans, and awareness of risks and complications. This training ensures workers understand the purpose and benefits of PEG feeding, can follow correct procedures, and are able to respond appropriately to emergencies.
